By VALE request, ROF developed an variable frequency drive project to convert the 72Vcc from locomotive battery to a 220 Vac in order to operate a commercial air conditioning device in the locomotive cabin. This project originated the product used by Vale, ZAMIN and FTL in ints locomotives.

Alstom developed a tachometer to be mounted at one of the locomotive axles through an appropriated support. ROF was designed to manufacture this part for Alstom.

ROF has developed a nationalized and optimized version of a Siemens Cell Lifter in order to provide a better solution to customers in Brazil and Latin America.

ROF has developed a portable electronic voltage variator for three-phase AC voltage. This equipment is used in the field as a working tool for testing low voltage electrical panels.
